Blog 6: Hero
The movie Hero was a great movie but it was sad to see the person who should of got fame not get the fame. The best part of the movie was probably the end when the reporter was talking individually to Bernie and what was interesting to me was when Bernie admitted that he saved her and the whole incident with Bubber was a lie. The media never payed attention to Bernie though because he wasn't much of a heroic character he was sort of the antagonist of the movie but in a way he was the hero. The gentlemen Bubber actually played a really down to earth character which caught my attention most. In my opinion he should of definitely took all the credit for something he did and that was to be a hero. The only reason why the media loved Bubber was because he played the character well as in he made pretend he was the actual hero and that was the only thing that caught the media's attention and right away jumped into conclusions that he is a very good guy better yet a ''savior''

I was also sad and kind of upset that Bernie didn't get his fame and glory also and your right about how Bubber play his role as the hero well and that's why the media fell in love with him.

ReplyDeleteI think it's cool that Bernie didn't want to take the credit. Well, he only wanted credit because of the money but other than that he didn't want the fame that came along with it. He didn't save people so that he could be recognized for it. You could tell he's not much of an attention seeker. He kind of reminds me of myself. He's one of those people who likes to lay low.
